# Introduction

Megaweapon Pro is the official name of entry fee and payout Megaweapon matches - often known as "Risk Play." The management of entry fees and payouts is handled through blockchain smart contracts.

### **Basic Flow**

* Players pay an entry fee to join a match. 
* Once the conditions of that match are met (minimum players, maximum players) the entry fees are locked and the match begins. 
* Final match results are sent to the smart contract and the payouts sent to the winners.

Occasionally, promotional events may supplement and/or sponsor matches and tournaments with additional assets - but the same principals still apply.

Megaweapon will leverage [Ludex ](https://www.ludex.gg)smart contracts to manage Pro matches. Ludex is a provider of on-chain technology for competitive gaming experiences.
